How does AstraSchedule schedule Lecture/Lab Courses?

When the class is entered into PeopleSoft, it needs to have separate meeting patterns for the lecture and lab portions of the class. When it is brought in to the scheduler, AstraSchedule will then recognize them as having different needs. Then the business rules can be written to schedule the parts of the class correctly.
