How does ARG compare to conventional stabilizer fins? Is it as effective?
Since they operate on completely different principles, it’s difficult to directly compare ARG to conventional fin stabilizers. For starters, however, unlike stabilizers, ARG works very well at rest. At slower speeds, ARG effectiveness is very comparable to fin stabilizers while eliminating typical performance and contact issues related to protrusion of the stabilizer from the hull.
