AquaLab’s chilled mirror technology determines the dewpoint temperature of air equilibrated with a sample. In addition, infrared thermometry pin-points the sample temperature. An internal, microprocessor-controlled data acquisition system converts these measurements to vapor pressures. The ratio of these values indicates the sample’s water activity level.
