How does an Octopus Hip-Hatch differ from my OEM aft day hatch?
Octopus has added a super lug handle to our hatch covers, glove friendly, and workable without watching. We also have replaced the porous nylon inner bag with a water resistant vinyl bag still removable for cleaning. Additionally, our Hip-Hatch features a tether for the hatch cover. Consider a swap-out if you already have a 5-inch aft day hatch. Q: I d like to install a Hip-Hatch, but my hull appears to have too much curvature.
