How does an NFO work?
An NFO, when dealing with music rips, contains information about the album, such as composers, producers, track lists, and total play times. It also contains information on what was used to rip/encode the CD. To open NFOs, all you have to do is open a text editor (like Notepad) and select the file. There are also programs that you can install that specialise in NFO files, such as DAMN NFO Viewer.
