How does an Inkjet Print Head work?
Manufacturers use different technologies in their print head design, but in principle, Ink is heated in the print head by an electrical circuit, which causes the ink to expand and a droplet of ink to be forced out of the micro-nozzle. The width of a nozzle is approximately half the thickness of a human hair and inkjet cartridges ‘fire’ thousands of droplets per second per nozzle resulting into millions of droplets.
