How does an employer know when and how much to withhold when they receive an Order/Notice to Withhold Income for Child Support?
Withholding must begin the first pay period occurring after receipt of the Order/Notice to Withhold Income for Child Support (CSF 11 0210). The notice informs the employer of the amount to be withheld. The withheld pay must be sent within seven (7) working days of the pay date/date of withholding.
