How does an Emory College student transfer to the Business School to obtain a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree?
Admission to the Business School is selective. Our curriculum is rigorous, the course-work is fast-paced, and we expect students to come to class prepared to make meaningful contributions. While there is no minimum GPA to apply, a cumulative GPA of 3.3 is preferable, and strong performance in pre-requisite classes is expected. Involvement in extra-curricular activities is highly desirable and a strong personal essay and faculty recommendation are necessary. The Fall 2004 incoming class will average approximately a 3.4 GPA. We typically enter a class of 240 juniors per academic year, with entrance during the spring, summer, or fall semester. Students are invited to apply to the Business School when they have finished all admission requirements and a minimum of 64 semester hours (not including PE or FAME).
