The BSN Nursing Program extends through four years. During the first two years students need to take selected prerequisite courses. Students need to be aware of required prerequisites as they select courses to meet distribution requirements. Please note that sixty semester hours in Emory College which includes the required pre-requisite courses (exclusive of physical education courses) is required to achieve sophomore status. Please note: Advisors or pre-nursing students should (in addition to bidding) contact the School of Nursing Office of Student Affairs (7-7980) when registering for Human Anatomy and Human Physiology prerequisite requirements. This will assist us in being sure that they are enrolled first and/or adjustments made to class size. The first two years of general education prerequisites for nursing, may be met with the following (suggested) curriculum plan at Emory College: Year One, Fall ENG 101 Expository Writing or ENG 181 Writing About Literature CHEM 141- General Ch
