How does an EE system use solar heat to cool a home?
ACold is the absence of heat. In summer, heat from the building is transferred into the fluid used in the loop (by means of a compressor) and, as this fluid circulates, the heat is rejected (discharged) into the ground around the loop pipe. By transferring heat out of the building, this provides cooling and dehumidification.
