How does an ASP charge for services?
An ASP can charge for services on either a subscription basis or on a transaction basis. For subscription based arrangements, they can be based on any number of factors including number of physicians or number of members in a health plan. Transaction-based arrangements also vary based on the type and size of the transaction. Fees are typically less than 50% of what it would cost under traditional deployment.
