How does an alarm phone work?
It works by connecting a sophisticated alarm system to a monitoring center via a telephone line. If a sensor is triggered, the alarm system automatically sends an alert to our monitoring center, who in turn will contact you or any of your nominated contacts by phone. If you cannot respond to the alert, the next person in line will be called, and so on until contact is made. Once contacted, you’ll be asked to provide us with your password and we’ll provide you with details that will help us exclude the possibility of false alarm. If we can’t reach you or you failed to provide us with a correct password, local authorities will be dispatched to the scene immediately.
