How does all that plurality work?
Because we believe in supporting everyones free and responsible search for truth and meaning, Unitarian Universalists show respect for differing views of the sacred. Worship services tend to be pluralistic, with openings for varied views of what is sacred. While there is not always agreement, respect should be shown for each persons beliefs and a curiosity and interest in dialogue about the beliefs of others. The Path to Membership is where those who want to become UUCD Members come together to share their spiritual paths and to gain knowledge about our church. Clergy and lay leaders discuss the structure of our congregation, our worship, lifespan learning and religious exploration, and outreach programs. We discuss the UU Principles and Purposes and the history of the UU movement. Please register at the Welcome Desk or through the office. We provide lunch and child care. 753-2581 x100, office[at]uudavis.
