How does Align to Achieve (A2A) correlate content?
In order to align standards with each other and with instructional materials and assessment, A2A has developed in a joint effort with McREL a common index, or alignment system, based on standards research called the A2A+McREL Compendix. The result is a dynamic, web-based standards resource for districts, states, and content providers. A2A continues its work with states and standards organizations to produce an important enabling technology for today’s educators, students, and content providers. McREL is a federal-sponsored educational laboratory focused on research and development with the primary goal of improving schools.
