How Does Alcoholism Affect Children?
Alcoholism when it is having parents who are alcoholics…can be hereditary and lead to the child becoming alcoholics as well. It also leads to sclerosis of the liver, that filters pollutants in our body. It also leads to jail time, counseling, and even alcohol poisoning. If it is the parents who are the alcoholics it can lead to low self-esteem, child abuse, neglect, and even having their children removed from their custody. Alcoholism has long and short term effects none of which I have ever known to have anything good about them.
