Booze is also going to nutrients out of your body along with proteins and other substances that you need to keep your blood from running so thin that it won’t deliver oxygen in the amounts that it needs too. The effect is not in the liver its in the blood and when they day no drinking they mean NO drinking at all under any circumstances while you are on Warfarin.
