How does Advertising work?
In College Publisher 5.0, advertising is run through an enterprise ad management system powered by Atlas Ad Suite, a subsidiary of Microsoft. This technology allows College Media Network to place national advertising (2 ad positions) across the entire network of newspaper sites as well as enabling individual newspapers to place local ads (3 ad positions) on their site. A new revenue sharing program is planned to be deployed through College Publisher 5.0 where any remnant (unsold) ad inventory on your site is back filled with campaigns sold by College Media Network and other National Rep Agencies. The revenue from these campaigns is split between your publication and CMN (the lion’s share going to you).
