How does AdMinder track future Sales and other Actions at my site?
AdMinder’s proprietary tracking system does everything that is technically possible to track future Sales and other Actions (software downloads, ezine subscriptions, etc.) at your site. After all, most visitors will NOT buy your product or service on their first visit to your website. You can get all of the details on how this works in the User Guide, but in a nutshell, AdMinder uses a combination of both cookies and IP addresses for tracking future Sales and other Actions. In a sampling of over 1 billion page views, WebSideStory recently reported (full story) that cookies were rejected by Internet users only 0.68% of the time, so cookies are a big part of the tracking.
