How does accommodation at Southampton work?
There is a wide range of catered and self-catering university accommodation available at Southampton. All of it is within walking distance of campus and/or on one of the uni-link bus routes. The University guarantees accommodation to the vast majority of first year students (see www.accommodation.soton.ac.uk for further details). If you are made a conditional or unconditional offer of a place to read Geography at Southampton, you will be invited to a visit day, within which will be an opportunity to visit one of the University’s Halls of Residence.
