How does ABJ Construction differ from other homebuilders?
A. We have the capability to both design and build a one-of-a-kind custom home while providing you with complete personal service every step of the way. The focus of our business is generally in the $500,000 to $1,000,000 range, mostly on Lake Norman waterfront lots. Special carpentry is done by full-time ABJ employee craftsmen, most of whom have been with the company for 10 to 20 years. Our key subcontractors are small local firms headed by skilled tradesmen on the job leading crews of experienced workers. This is in contrast to a more typical scenario these days where the general contractor has no full-time carpenters and all of the work is subcontracted out. Our quality-insistent Project Manager, with over 35 years homebuilding experience, provides consistent personal attention to the clients and constant oversight of the project.
