It takes time, and effort on both you and your husband. You will feel hurt and betrayed and wonder what he is up to for a long time. If he is truly sorry, he will do all he can to work on rebuilding that trust. It is hard to do, but it can be done, over time. I thought I could trust my husband after his first affair, and I thought it would work, but he had another one, and this time we are getting divorced.
