The twin screw press basically has two gears that mesh together, similar to gears in a transmission of a car. The produce is put into the machine, and it squeezes the juice out. It extracts a better yield of juice, and preserves the most nutrients. It is the only kind of juicer that will juice wheatgrass as well as other vegetables and some fruits. If you desire to juice mostly fruits, we do not suggest a twin gear juicer, since they do best at juicing vegetables and leafy greens.
