How does a supervisor or alternate approver waive an employees training when they are not at work for an extended time but will return some day or they do not have access to Government computers?
Supervisors and/or alternate approvers can log into DOI LEARN to waive an employee’s training if they are on extended leave, medical or maternity leave, military leave, students away at school, etc. but are active in FPPS. Do not suspend employee records if they are active in FPPS and plan to return to work, waive their training.
