How does a student learn languages at LAMP Online High School?
Learning languages online through Apex Learning meets the National Standards for Foreign Language Education. LAMP Online High School students learn to communicate by listening to native speakers and experienced speakers in video and audio clips and by practicing spoken exercises. Spoken exercises may be recorded, depending on the language course and how long the student has been in the course. Teachers may also contact students for spoken lessons. Written communication is submitted just like any other online written work, and an extra keyboard is shown on the screen, so students can use accents and other punctuation unavailable on a standard keyboard.
