How does a student get to go to The Kenneth E. Behring National History Day competition?

0

A student must first prepare a project in one of the five categories associated with the National History Day competition. Upon registration at a regional level (Check with Regional Coordinator for information about fees and registration process), his/her project will be entered and judged in one of the regional History Day competitions. Each region, dependent on judges’ evaluations, advances student entries to the National History Day in Pennsylvania competition. All of the students advancing from the regional level, upon completion of registration and payment of all fees, will meet at the state contest to compete to represent Pennsylvania at the National History Day competition. After registration has been completed and fees paid for the state competition, each regional winner will be entered into the system to receive his or her individual or group competitive site assignment, judging agenda, and residence hall and cafeteria assignments if using campus facilities.
