How does a student get Federal work-study?

0

In order for students to be awarded Federal work-study, they must first complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) the semester prior to the following academic year. On this application, there is a question as to whether or not they are interested in receiving this award. Students who check ‘yes’ and demonstrate financial need may receive a Federal work-study award. Determinations are also based on the student’s award package for that given academic period. Students with specific questions about Federal work-study should visit the Office of Financial Aid located in the Lightsey Center Annex.
