How does a student exit ESOL?
A student may exit ESOL after scoring a 5.0 composite score on Tier C of the ACCESS for ELLs test. OR A student may exit ESOL after scoring a 4.0 composite score on Tier C of the ACCESS for ELLs test AND pass the English Language Arts portion of the Georgia Criterion Referenced Competency Test (CRCT). At which point a LAC form would be completed by the regular education teacher and approved by the LAC team.
