How Does a Student Become a Member of the Titusville High School Chapter of National Honor Society?
National Honor Society members are 10th, 11th, and 12th graders who have been enrolled at Titusville High for at least one semester. The following steps are followed for the evaluation process. • In January, after Term 1 grades are posted, students with a GPA of 3.8000* or higher are listed. *This is the weighted GPA for academic courses. • The lists are sent to Grade-Level Administrators. Students who have had a referral resulting in suspension during this school year are removed from the list. • All students remaining on the list are notified and given the opportunity to complete a packet for admission into National Honor Society. • Each packet is evaluated by the Faculty Council and students with 3.8 or higher average scores are accepted into National Honor Society.
