How does a speech-language pathologists practice become certified as a Medicare provider?
On July 16, 2008 the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act (MIPPA) of 2008 was passed, which included a provision that allows speech-language pathologists in private practice to directly bill the Medicare program effective July 1, 2009.
