How does a Solarise SQ58 SWH operate?
Solarise SQ58 series SWH can be used as a direct or indirect water heating system. Furthermore, our system makes use of a power efficient active circulation pump which allows our solar collectors to be independently positioned on the roof without a large water tank. Direct System: Water is circulated from the geyser to the solar collector manifold to be heated. As the water temperate at the collector unit rises to the predetermined temperature above that of the water in the geyser, an intelligent thermal sensor controller will activate the pump to circulate the “cooler” water from the geyser for heating. The pump will automatically stop and repeat this heat circulation process. Indirect System: Instead of circulating water to be directly heated, an indirect system will circulate thermal exchange fluids (e.g. antifreeze).
