How does a relationship with FMA work?
We work on site two or three times a week with each company served. A regular schedule is established such that we are at the business either on a Monday/Thursday or a Tuesday/Friday combination. That means no more than two days pass without working on site. That level of presence is critical to functioning as part of the management team and providing the necessary follow-through. Two FMA professional staff are involved with each relationship. One has primary on site controllership / CFO responsibility. If special projects or urgent needs arise, we are able to commit additional time. When not on site, we’re immediately available should something urgent need attention. We can be reached via paging, cell phone, e-mail and, in some cases, remote on-line connection to the company’s computer system.
