How does a referee make a correction to a submitted letter or reference form?

0

To correct/update a letter or form (i.e., replace original letter or form submitted), the referee needs to know the Reference Letter or Reference Form Confirmation Number. On the Submit Reference Letter screen in Commons, the referee should enter all the required fields, as well as the confirmation number, and click on ‘Continue.’ A second screen where he/she can upload the revised letter or form will appear. Once the revised letter or form is uploaded, it overrides the previously submitted letter or form. Note: It is extremely important that the referee use the confirmation number in submitting the revised reference letter or reference form. Applicants are allowed only a specific number of reference letters or reference forms, and if the referee submits a second letter or form without entering the confirmation number, both letters or forms will be counted toward the number of letters or forms allowed with the application, but two letters or forms submitted by the same referee will not
