How does a project management life cycle contribute to an organization`s ability to achieve improvement?

It’s been a while since I took a PM course. However, as I recall quality management is part of the PM life cycle. I am in the quality profession and strongly believe that this is how a company achieves improvement. There are many variations on the quality management idea (you may have heard of some of them such as Six Sigma, Kaisen, etc). The basic idea is constant improvement: * Assess the project after it is complete (in proj management you may call this a Project Post Mortem). * Learn from your mistakes, i.e., change the process, implement preventative measures, etc.

What is your question?

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
