How Does a Programmable Thermostat Work?
A programmable thermostat follows ether a preset program or a user-defined program. The program tell the thermostat what temperature to maintain during a given time period. In most programs there are comfort periods and energy save periods. Energy save period are usually used when you are away or a sleep. Comfort periods are for when you are at home and awake.
