How does a producer/company terminate an appointment?
A producer may go to our website and download the termination of appointment form and fill it out and fax to 208-334-4398. Companies must process terminations electronically through NIPR or Sircon. There is no state fee to terminate an appointment. if terminating for cause, a notification, explanation and pertinent documents must be sent to the Department. Contact Licensing: 208-334-4250 if you have questions regarding this requirement. NOTE: terminations cannot be back-dated more than 30 days.
