This accounts for a majority of the players and is based on ATP Entry Ranking at the time of entry. Wild Cards: These are granted at the tournament’s discretion. Qualifying: 4 spots in the main draw are filled by qualifiers — those players who successfully win two matches during the qualifying matches. Special Exempt: Reserved for players who are unable to compete in the qualifying competition because they are still competing in another singles tournament on the date the qualifying competition begins.
