How does a pitcher strike out 4 hitters in just 1 inning?
Simple: -Ok say, there are already two outs and the next guy comes up to bat -He gets 2 strikes and on the next pitch he swings and the balls hits but “falls” around him or under the catcher -He then can run to 1st base -If he is safe, it does not count as an out, only a strike -Then the next guy comes up to bat, there is still only 2 outs but by this time, there is 3 strikeouts which could cause him to be stikrout #4 Hope this helps!
