General and family practitioners, internists and OB/GYN physicians in the BCBSNC network may contact BCBSNC, the North Carolina Medical Society or Maxim Healthcare Services to participate. Physicians may choose to either to set up an in-office flu shot clinic or administer flu shots by appointment. Those who set up clinics may use their own medical professionals to administer the shots, or they may schedule Maxim health professionals to come in to administer the flu shots.
