How does a parent, guardian, or sponsor get set up as an Authorized Payer?
It is the responsibility of the student to set up anyone else responsible for their account, typically parents, guardians, and third party sponsors, as Authorized Payers in their CardinalPAY profile. Once the Authorized Payer has been set up in CardinalPAY, has received the e-mail providing their login name, and the student provides him or her with their temporary password, they can view the on-line billing statement and student account and/or make a payment. Thereafter, the billing statement e-mail notification will be sent to the Authorized Payer as well as to the student.
