How does a pallet of Bear Bricks compare to a full cord of wood?
A pallet of Bear Bricks consists of 972 Bricks. With a heating value of 16,000 BTU’s per Brick, a full pallet has a heating value of 15.5 million BTU’s. This is equivalent to the heating value of a standard cord of local wood. How do you start Bear Bricks? We suggest first starting a kindling fire to build some hot coals. Once these coals have been established, form a teepee or a fort around the coals. Since Bear Bricks are very dense, you may find it difficult to start a fire with only paper.
