How does a new student get involved in activities on campus?
New students are encouraged to explore the wide range of activities offered on campus. A Student Organization Recruitment Fair is held at the beginning of each semester. The Recruitment Fair features between 40 and 60 student groups that provide educational, cultural, social, and recreational programming on campus. Students can also learn more about the various student groups by visiting the Student Activities office in the upper level of the Student Union. Another good source of information for interested students is the Student Activities website at http: //www.uwp.edu/admin/union/student_org/student_org.html. All of these organizations are student run and depend upon student members to provide the energy and enthusiasm necessary to be successful.
