How Does a Murder Mystery Dinner Party Work?
The Story Your murder mystery dinner party kit will contain a background story about the “murder” that you and your guests will be investigating. In most cases, it will have taken place before the meal so you don’t need someone to practice dying dramatically. Read this story to guests when they first arrive to give them an idea of what they’re hoping to learn throughout the meal to solve the case. Between each course, you’ll have additional clues to read or evidence to present which will reveal more of the story bit by bit and offer keys to solving the puzzle and determining who the murderer is. The Characters Your kit will also include invitations and character cards or booklets to hand out to your guests. The cards or booklets will have background on a person somehow involved with the murder.
