How does a money, possessions, and status affext a perons happiness and well-being in life?

How much money? If you have none at all, or very, very little, then life really sucks. So, there’s a level of income that’s necessary to being comfy (being hungry most of the time is just no pleasant; not knowing whether you’ll have a comfy place to sleep tonight, ditto). So it’s not that money doesn’t matter at all. But, once you’re comfy, then seeking more is counter-productive to happiness. STUFF makes you giddy for short times, but doesn’t really give one satisfaction, and certainly not meaning. Doing something you feel to be worthwhile, and which you enjoy, having people in your life, doing fun stuff — these are what effect happiness. A life filled with “Oh, boy! I’ve got this. Now, what else can I get?” and “More! More! MORE!!!” is emotionally empty.
