How does a MEd program differ from a MA program?
A MEd program is considered a professional program and its completion requires passing of a comprehensive exam while an MA program is considered a research focused program and its completion requires the writing of a thesis. The 5-week intensive Orientation Program supports students’ initial adaptation to life in Canada and to study at SFU. It introduces students to the expectations of graduate study at SFU.
