How does a Master Plan differ from a Sketch Plan—and what does it cost?
A Master Plan is a comprehensive scaled drawing that responds to the client’s specific design requirements. It is suitable for project phasing, competitive bidding, and construction. It is appropriate for residential, commercial, or recreational properties for which the design requirements are more complex. It’s a more collaborative process, generally requiring more than one meeting. My fee for Master Plans varies by project. I’ll submit a proposal with an estimate of hours and a fee schedule for approval.
