How does a market economy and command economy work together?
In China and Vietnam, the market economy can work so well without democracy. In theory, it is weird. Because market intervention by the dictator will cause a deadweight loss. But the government in those two countries have utilized the loop hole of this theory by reducing the free-riders, and set up the ideology for the nation. Japan was succesfully leading the country that way in the 50s and 60s. The work cooperation between the government and the private sector as a one has been called Japan inc. since then. South Korea is also a good example of strong government based on market economy.
