How does a Marine Toilet Work?
A marine toilet is designed to work on ships or boats. The reason that a traditional toilet system will not work, is that it requires the toilet bowl to be filled with water, when traveling on water, that would be a hazard due to spillage during any time of rough water. A marine toilet works by using a dual pump system, one pump places water in the toilet prior to use, and that water is used until all waste is disposed of. After that step is complete, the dry pump setting must be activated to empty the clean toilet bowl of all water.
