How does a laser work in eliminating spider veins?
Producing a 1064nm wavelength, the LYRA-i laser light passes through the skin and penetrates the targeted vessel. Almost completely transparent to the rest of the skin, the laser is highly absorbed in blood, heating up and coagulating the blood inside the target vein. Unsupported, these vein walls collapse and seal, later being absorbed by the body.
