How Does a Ground Loop Isolator Work?
A ground loop isolator works by having an isolation transformer for each channel of your car stereo. It stops the flow of any DC current from interfering with the audio signal coming from your stereo to the amplifier. It won’t affect the level of the audio signal, it just stops the noise that could occur from the other electrical components of the vehicle.
