How does a GPS fleet tracking system provide excessive speed reports and how is it programmed?
With GPS fleet tracking, excessive speed reporting is programmed by the customer by utilizing the website. Each vehicle can be programmed for different speed thresholds. Once the vehicle is traveling over the set limit for more than 5 seconds, an alert is recorded and sent to our server. Through fleet management, speed violation can be sent via email to notify the fleet manager. It will show the exact time and date of the violation, a latitude and longitude as well as a map showing where the violation occurred.
